The Kingston IronKey™ Locker+ 50 G2 USB stick offers enterprise-class security with 256-bit AES hardware encryption in FIPS 197-certified XTS mode, including protection against BadUSB and brute force attacks using a password. The LP50 G2 memory is also TAA compliant.

FIPS 197 certificate and 256-bit AES encryption

The Kingston IronKey™ Locker+ 50 G2 USB stick offers enterprise-class security with 256-bit AES hardware encryption in FIPS 197-certified XTS mode, including protection against BadUSB and brute force attacks using a password. The LP50 G2 memory is also TAA compliant.

LP50 G2 memory, equipped with a newly designed, modern housing, supports the option of multiple passwords (administrator and user) in complex password mode or password expressions. Complex password mode allows you to enter passwords consisting of 6 to 16 characters belonging to 3 of 4 character sets. Password expression mode allows you to enter a PIN number, sentence, word list, or even song text that is 10 to 64 characters long. The administrator can enable or reset the user's password to restore access to the data. To make it easier to enter your password, you can enable the eye symbol so that the password becomes visible, which reduces the risk of typos resulting in failed login attempts. The brute force attack protection feature blocks the user after 10 consecutive attempts to enter the wrong password, and after 10 consecutive attempts to enter the wrong password, the administrator cryptographically erases the memory. Additional features include an anti-fingerprint coating and a built-in virtual keyboard to protect passwords from keyloggers and screenloggers.

For convenience of use and free data transfer, the Locker+ 50 G2 memory is placed in a metal housing with a key ring hook. Each user can easily configure the LP50 G2 memory, because it does not require the installation of any application, and all the necessary software and security are already in memory. The device runs on Windows® and macOS®, allowing users to access files from multiple systems.

The FIPS 197 certified XTS-AES 256-bit encryption feature protects important data with built-in protection against BadUSB and brute force attacks.

Multi-password option and complex/password expression modes

An administrator can reset a user's password to restore user access to data -- both in complex password mode and password expression. The password expression can be a PIN number, a sentence with spaces, a list of words, or even text – from 10 to 64 characters long.

Additional safeguards

Avoid unsuccessful login attempts by pressing the “eye” button to display the entered password. The LP50 G2 memory has an anti-fingerprint coating and a built-in virtual keyboard that protects passwords from keyloggers and screenloggers.
