UroLact oral Urological Probiotic 400mg, 10 kaps.

Probiotic bacteria of the Lactobacillus genus present in UroLact® are part of the normal microbiota of the gastrointestinal tract. They also show a natural ability to move along the gastrointestinal tract to the rectum and anus, from where they migrate to the urethra and vaginal outlet in women.

Properties: UroLact® contains a composition of three live strains of probiotic bacteria

– Lactobacillus rhamnosus PL1, Lactobacillus plantarum PM1 and Lactobacillus reuteri 5454

These bacteria have a positive effect on the microbiota of the urinary tract thanks to the ability to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria and yeast-like fungi, which are the most common cause of urogenital tract infections.

In vitro studies have confirmed a number of beneficial properties of Lactobacillus strains present in UroLact®:

• inhibition of the growth of bacteria that are the most common cause of recurrent urinary tract infections: Escherichia coli (aetiological factor 80 to 90% of primary urinary tract infections), Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus agalactiae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa,
• inhibition of the growth of pathogenic fungi of the genus Candida causing genitourinary candidiasis,
• resistance to hydrochloric acid and bile salts, which allows the passage (movement) through the stomach and intestine to survive,
• strong adhesion (adhesion) to intestinal, anal, urethral and vaginal epithelial cells.

Usage: children from 3. year of life: 1 capsule 1 time a day,

adults and children over 12. Year of age: 1 capsule 1-2 times a day.

Use orally.

Swallow the capsule with 100 ml (half a glass) of lukewarm water.

If it is not possible to swallow, the contents of the capsule may be mixed with food or cool water.

UroLact® is best consumed during a meal (this ensures higher survival of bacteria contained in the preparation).

Do not exceed the recommended portion for consumption during the day.

A dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute (replacement) for a varied diet.

Duration of application:

To maintain proper balance of the urinary microbiota – UroLact® should be used for no less than 10 days.
