Planet
The PLANET Long Reach PoE solution is designed to extend Ethernet IP transmission and simultaneously feed power to a remote powered device (PD) compliant with 802.3af/at PoE beyond the 100-meter distance limit in Ethernet.
Convenient PoE over UTP extension cable in demanding environments
The LRP-101U-KIT, a PLANET Long Reach PoE solution, is a single-port PoE over UTP extension cable kit that enables data and power transmission over distances of up to 500 m via UTP/STP twisted pair cable and another 100 m via Ethernet cable for remote PoE IP cameras, wireless PoE APs or 802.3af/at PoE-compliant access control systems. The LRP-101U-KIT provides a point-to-point application for easy plug-n-play operation and deployment in climate-demanding environments with a wide temperature range of -20 to 70 degrees C. No power source problem, facilitates and streamlines the installation of remote PoE-powered devices.
Long Reach PoE over UTP Extension Kit
The LRP-101U-KIT consists of a Long Reach PoE injector and a set of Long Reach PoE extenders that can work in tandem anywhere in your network infrastructure. It contains two completely new products:
- LRP-101UH: 1-Port 10/100TX PoE PD + 1-Port UTP Long Reach PoE Injector.
- LRP-101UE: 1-Port 10/100TX PoE PSE + 1-Port UTP Long Reach PoE Extender
The LRP-101UH transmits data and power via UTP/STP twisted pair to the LRP-101UE, which can be up to 500m away. It then delivers data and output power of up to 25W to the PoE PD device via Ethernet cable, allowing you to expand your IP surveillance network or wireless LAN infrastructure over long distances. Both products have a compact but durable metal housing. Their wall-mount design can easily fit in any location with limited space.
IP Ethernet and power supply on long twisted pair UTP or Twisted-pair
An ordinary UTP cable can only be extended to 100 meters, but the LRP-101U-KIT can extend the PoE network to 500 meters (1,640ft.) on a long 4-pair UTP twisted pair or to 300 meters (1,000ft.) on an existing 1-pair twisted pair, such as a telephone cable, with stable, high-quality video transmission. It eliminates the need for additional power in a remote location, while allowing power from a single source to both LRP extension cords and long-range PoE IP cameras.
Stable operation in harsh environmental conditions
The PLANET Long Reach PoE Extender Kit is the perfect solution for increasing the distance for PoE or non-PoE networks in warehouses, parking lots, campuses, casinos and more. They can work stably at temperatures from -20 to 70 degrees C to allow users to conveniently operate the kit almost anywhere.
Plug-n-play installation
With its plug and play feature, the PLANET Long Reach PoE Extender Kit can be used immediately without the need for configuration, and is compatible with all types of IP network protocols. In addition, rich diagnostic diodes on the front panel show the operating status of individual ports and the entire system, enabling the administrator to effectively manage the network.
