Network security
Switch functions such as IP-MAC-Port bindings, port protection, Storm Control, DHCP Snooping protect against multiple network attacks. The use of access control lists (ACLs, L2 to L4) prevents access to specific network resources; the refusal to send packets can be set for specific source or destination MAC addresses, IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports and even VLAN IDs. In addition, the switch uses 802.1X encryption in conjunction with RADIUS/Tacacs+ server features to authenticate users who want to access the network.
Advanced QoS features
To ensure better audio, data and video transmission in a single network traffic, network administrators can prioritize e.g. for individual IP addresses, MAC addresses, TCP or UDP ports, etc. This ensures that audio and video transmission is smooth, clear, and lag-free.
