Product Description

CRS317-1G-16S+RM is a powerful, managed Layer 2/3 switch. It is equipped with 16 slots for SFP+ inserts, ordinary SFP inserts can also be successfully inserted into the slots. The device has a powerful switch chip that allows you to use the capabilities of 16 ports with a bandwidth of 10 Gbps. The product also has a processor with a clock speed of 800 MHz and 1 GB of RAM, so it can partially work in the Layer 3 layer, without performance problems.

Switch has a dual boot function - the user can choose to use SwitchOS or RouterOS. Using SwitchOS, we get a graphical interface and all the functions of a managed switch. In addition, the software supports MAC filtering, VLAN configuration, mirror traffic or bandwidth limiting. RouterOS, on the other hand, allows you to take advantage of more advanced features in Layer 3.

The offered product is enclosed in a housing adapted for mounting in a 19" rack. It is passively cooled, but also has fans that turn on when the temperature rises. The device is equipped with two built-in power supplies that can work redundantly. In the event of failure of one, the power supply will be responsible for the other.
