Application
The Dahua TPC-SD2241-B3F4-DW-S2 thermal imaging camera is a rotating hybrid device combining a thermal channel 256×192 with a video channel ~4 MP, designed for medium-distance peripheral monitoring and external surveillance in industrial facilities, open areas and with perimeter control.
Image fusion and detection
The device offers two-channel fusion of thermal and video images, which improves target recognition with limited visibility. Built-in AI analysis capabilities enable detection of heat sources and classification of objects into people and vehicles, detection of virtual line crossings and triggering sound and light alarms in response to events.
Movable PTZ design
Speed dome with full horizontal rotation range and high movement dynamics allows you to quickly track objects over a large area. The device supports numerous presets and programmable patrol routes, which facilitates the automation of surveillance and quick setting of key observation points.
Video Channel and Network
The camera delivers high-resolution video (about 4 MP) with H.265/H.264 compression and network streaming via 10/100 Base-T interface. Supports two-way audio and CVBS video output (SPOT). The device integrates with NVR systems and ONVIF-compliant systems, and local recording is possible on a Micro SD card.
Design and installation
The Speed Dome design and IP66 rating provide the camera for outdoor use in harsh weather conditions. The device can be powered by PoE (802.3at) or 12V DC, and the mechanical design and operating temperature range allow installation in places exposed to frost and heat. The weight and dimensions require the use of an appropriate, load-bearing mounting bracket and taking into account the method of conducting power and network cables.
