Application

19'' 1U fiber optic weld box designed to organize and secure fiber optic connections in rack cabinets. It allows you to connect incoming cables and distribute the signal to active and passive devices and conveniently carry out service work related to welding and fiber termination.

Design and housing

The housing is made of 1 mm thick steel sheet, protected with a powder coating in gray (RAL 7035). The box has a low 1U design and is equipped with a retractable tray / weld cassette, which makes it easy to access during welding and organize the fibers inside the housing.

Connectors and fibres

The front panel is equipped with 6 SC adapters in a duplex system. The device supports OS2 single-mode fibers; internal pigtails are color-coded according to DIN IEC 60304 and prepared for installation in a weld cassette, which facilitates fiber identification and further connection to network devices.

Dimensions and installation

The box is designed to be mounted in a 19'' cabinet to a height of 1U. The external dimensions are 483 mm wide, 44,5 mm high and 280 mm deep, which allows it to be embedded in typical rack cabinets while maintaining standard distances and cable routing.

Equipment and functionality

The product comes as an assembled weld panel with a weld cassette and a set of pigtails and muffs for fiber termination; the front panel with adapters allows you to easily connect patchcords. The applied solutions allow neat handling and protection of fibers and comfortable performance of installation and service work.
