SHERMAN® HOBBY MIG 200 SPEEDY

Semi-automatic welding machine MIG 200 Speedy is used for manual welding of steel and non-ferrous metals.

Allows welding by the following methods:

• MIG/MAG - welding wire in gas shield,
• MMA (wrapped electrode) - electrode wrapped with direct current (DC)
• FLUX welding wire without shielding gas,

Thanks to the change of polarity, the device allows MIG/MAG welding using both standard wires and protective gas shielding as well as self-shielded powder wires.

The welding machine is used in closed or covered rooms, not exposed to direct weather conditions.

The device works with D100 (1kg) and D200 (5kg) wire spools.

Example applications: light industry, field renovation works, workshop work, automotive, silencer welding.

IGBT TECHNOLOGY

Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an isolated gate. It combines the ease of control of field transistors with high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology has an impact on a significant extension of reliable operation of welding equipment.

WORK CYCLE

The work cycle is based on a 10-minute period. The 60% duty cycle means that after 6 minutes work of the device, a 4-minute break is required. The 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously, without interruptions.

DEGREE OF PROTECTION

IP determines the extent to which the device is resistant to solid and water contaminants entering. IP21S means that the device is designed to work indoors and is not suitable for use in rain and snow.

PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING

The power source is equipped with a thermal, automatic switch overload. When the temperature of the welding machine is too high, the protection will disconnect the welding current and the diode indicating overheating will light up. After the temperature drops, the circuit breaker will automatically reset.

MMA

A method in which a wrapped electrode is used, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. The device allows welding with all types of electrodes.

2 ROLLER WIRE FEEDER

Professional feeder made of die-cast aluminum, has a powerful motor that allows for stable wire feeding without jamming.

POLARITY CHANGE - WELDING WITHOUT GAS

Thanks to the variable polarity, it is possible to weld using the FLUX method with powder wire without shielding gas. The wire is filled with flux producing protective gases during welding.

The wire shown in the picture next to it is compatible with welding machine which supports D100 welding wires (total spool diameter: 100mm)

NOTE! The wire is not standard equipment. You can buy such wire at our other auctions.

COOLING

The device has a cooling system fan which significantly increases its efficiency.
