Method of use

How to use Controly mercury-free thermometer?

• Clean and disinfect the thermometer immediately before and after use.
• Before measuring the temperature, check that the liquid post is below 36°C.
• Choose the measurement method (under the armpit, in the mouth or in the anus) and place the thermometer in the desired place accordingly.
• Measure the temperature for 8 minutes. After this time, the measuring liquid will indicate the measured body temperature on the measuring scale.
• Read the temperature by gently turning the thermometer in both directions.
• Placing the thermometer in a magnifier effect case makes it easy to read the temperature.
• After measuring the temperature, bring the measuring liquid back below 36°C.
• To do this, firmly grip the thermometer and shake several times, making vigorous movements with the wrist of the hand.
• It is recommended to shake the thermometer immediately after measuring the temperature.

Cleaning and disinfection:

• The best way to clean the thermometer tip is to use a disinfectant (e.g. 70% ethyl alcohol) and a damp cloth.
• Alternatively, the thermometer can be cleaned with cold soapy water.
• Do not use hot water to clean and disinfect the thermometer.
