Usage:
Measurement under arm
Measurement duration: at least 4 minutes, normal temperature: 37°C.
Place the tip of the thermometer under your tongue, breathe through your nose so as not to change the temperature.
Rectal measurement
Duration of measurement: at least 4 minutes, normal temperature: 37,5°C.
Place the tip of the thermometer gently in the anus to a depth of no more than 2 cm, stopping immediately after encountering any resistance. Do not use petroleum jelly.
Measurement in the mouth
Duration of measurement: at least 4 minutes, normal temperature: 36,7°C.
Make sure the axillary pit is dry, then place the tip of the thermometer in the recess under the armpit and press the arm against the torso.
- Before starting the measurement, make sure that the post filled with metal alloy indicates a value lower than 36°C.
- Place the thermometer where you want to measure: underarm measurement, mouth measurement, rectal measurement.
- After about 4 minutes, the thermometer will indicate the body temperature and it will be possible to read it.
- After measurement, the indicator liquid must return to below 36°C. To do this, place the thermometer in the appropriate tip (a device that makes it easier to shake the thermometer), which is located in the case, paying attention to carefully press the thermometer to the very end. Then grab the tip and shake with quick and rhythmic movements so that the liquid falls below 36°C.
