1. How is the PitcherPro carafe different from a regular filter jug?

Three key differences: glass instead of plastic (no microplastic from the housing), overflow filtration instead of gravity (3 to 6 times faster), and a cartridge at the level of 2 micrometers removing more than 80 impurities – standard cartridges for jugs usually retain several to several dozen substances.

2. How fast does PitcherPro filter?

Filtration takes place at the time of pouring – when tilting the carafe, water flows through the cartridge and comes out clean. The speed is 1 to 2 l/min depending on the degree of filling of the carafe. You don't have to wait for it to filter.

3. When to exchange a contribution?

The cartridge should be replaced after 3 months or after filtering 600 liters of water – whichever comes first. The exchange shall be carried out at the latest every 3 months regardless of the intensity of use.

4. What exactly does the filter remove?

The cartridge removes more than 80 laboratory-confirmed contaminants: chlorine and its derivatives (THM), lead, mercury, cadmium, pesticides, herbicides, pharmaceutical residues, some bacteria and microplastics. Filtration operates at the level of 2 micrometers.
