Procedure for Gasification with Water Saturator

Gassing your drinks with our water saturator requires several precise steps to ensure optimal results and efficient use of carbon dioxide (CO2). Below is a detailed procedure that will help you properly saturate water or other sodas.

Step 1: Preparation of Saturator and CO2 Cylinder

  1. Check the condition of the components:

    Make sure that all components of the kit, such as the fitting, CO2 cable, reducer and PET head, are in good condition and properly fastened.

    Check that the CO2 cylinder is full and properly fixed. Please note that the CO2 cylinder should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources.

  2. Connecting the CO2 cable:

    Screw the CO2 cable to the CO2 cylinder and to the reducer M1-6. Make sure the connections are tight to avoid gas leaks.

Step 2: Preparing Beverages

  1. Drink selection:

    You can gas various drinks such as water, beer, wine, lemoniada, etc. Make sure your drink is chilled because cold drinks absorb CO2 better.

  2. Preparation of PET bottles:

    Use PET bottles adapted for gassing. Make sure they are clean and dry before filling.

Step 3: Beverage Gasification

  1. PET bottle attachment:

    Screw the PET bottle into the PET head on the saturator. Make sure the bottle is firmly screwed and sealed.

  2. CO2 pressure adjustment:

    Set the appropriate pressure on the CO2 reducer according to the requirements of the drink and the degree of saturation you want to achieve. Typically, the pressure is between 1 and 2 bars, but it can vary depending on your drink and preference.

  3. Gasification:

    Gently press the button or lever on the saturator to start saturating the drink. Keep the bottle in a stable position and rotate it slightly at the same time to ensure even introduction of CO2.

  4. Control and termination:

    After a few seconds or after reaching the desired saturation level, stop the process. Open the vent valve if it is built into the saturator to release excess pressure.

  1. Removal of the bottle:

    Be careful to unscrew the PET bottle from the head, making sure there are no gas leaks. If you use more than one bottle, repeat the gassing steps for each bottle.
