Thanks to its easy operation, 0,1°C accuracy and the ability to measure in 3 places: in the mouth, under the armpit and rectum, the electronic thermometer is the most universal type of thermometer. It can be used in people aged 0 – 101 years, including newborns.

NOVAMA SLIM is an innovative design expressed in a streamlined form

The latest generation sensor ensures high accuracy and reliability of temperature measurement in each of the 3 measurement locations. The accuracy of NOVAMA SLIM is: ±0.1°C in the range of 35,5°C – 42°C, ±0.2°C outside this range.

Fever alarm

The fever alarm function in electronic thermometers helps the user to draw the user's attention to a state that requires attention and additional actions. An audible alarm is a signal emitted by a thermometer when the measurement result exceeds 37.8°C.

It consists of a repeated sequence of three “Bi” sounds: Bi-Bi-Bi – – – Bi-Bi-Bi – – – – Bi-Bi-Bi.

After this time, the thermometer will display the result and issue an audible signal – the measurement also continues after the signal, if the thermometer is still at the measurement site – you can extend the measurement time.

Simple one-button operation

The non-contact thermometer is still exceptional ease of use. It is perfect for any user, including those who do not like unnecessary complications.

To measure the temperature, press the switch button next to the LCD display. When all the elements of the screen appear on the screen, you will hear a beep, and then the last saved measurement result will be displayed. After self-test, the thermometer will go into measurement mode, and the “Lo°C” symbol will appear on the screen. If the ambient temperature exceeds 32°C, a measured ambient temperature will appear instead of the symbol “Lo°C”.

How to measure temperature with an electronic thermometer

How to measure the temperature in the mouth:

Place the thermometer under your tongue. Close your mouth and breathe evenly through your nose so that inhaled and exhaled air does not affect the measurement result. The range of normal temperatures is 35,7°C – 37,3°C.

How to measure temperature rectal:

Lubricate the silver sensor tip with petroleum jelly for easier measurement. Gently slide the sensor into the anus to a depth of approx. 1 cm. The range of normal temperatures is 36,2°C – 37,7°C.

How to measure the temperature under the armpit:

Wipe the armpit dry, place the thermometer under the armpit and press the thermometer with your arm against the body. From a medical point of view, the measurement under the arm will always be inaccurate and should not be used if a precise measurement result is needed. The range of normal temperatures is 35,2°C – 36,7°C.
