The camera is equipped with specially designed key components such as a unique 26 mm lens (equivalent to 40 mm in 35 mm format), image converter and imaging motor. Thanks to this, it provides great results in any situation, while maintaining a small size and comfort of use.

Despite the smaller housing than its predecessor, the camera has a large CMOS image sensor in APS-C format with a resolution of 24,24 megapixel. This allows you to capture the finest details and realistic colors in any setting.

With a start-up time of just 0,8 seconds, the camera is ready to go almost immediately. The ability to take continuous shooting allows you to capture fleeting moments without delays or compromises in quality.

Built-in HDF Filter

The RICOH GR IIIx HDF builds upon the proven design of the base model, offering exceptional image quality, reliable performance, and portability. It's further equipped with a newly developed, integrated HDF (Highlight Diffusion Filter) that can be activated with a single button. This allows you to achieve soft, gentle images with subtly diffused light – as an alternative to the crisp, sharp photos known from the base version of the Ricoh GR IIIx. The HDF filter allows the user to give photos a unique character – depending on the subject or creative intention.

Easy Image Style Switching

Thanks to the ability to quickly turn the filter on and off with a single button, the photographer can seamlessly switch between two completely different aesthetics: the sharp, clear image – the hallmark of the RICOH GR series – and the soft, atmospheric effect achieved with the HDF. This creative flexibility opens up interesting possibilities in street and everyday photography. Note: In the GR IIIx HDF model, the ND gray filter has been replaced by the HDF filter.
