• The fifth generation of X Series cameras features a back-illuminated X-TransTM CMOS 5 HR sensor with a resolution of 40.2 megapixels. The latest image processing algorithm provides high resolution and a high signal-to-noise ratio.
• The improved pixel arrangement on the sensor allows for more effective light capture, enabling the ISO125 sensitivity to now be used as the base sensitivity. Additionally, the electronic shutter in the X-T50 can operate at a maximum speed of up to 1/180000 sec, allowing for precise exposure time control. Shooting with a bright lens attached and at maximum aperture is now possible in many different lighting scenarios.
• The camera features an autofocus system with AI-based subject detection, developed using machine learning technology. The X-T50 can detect animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and drones within the frame. Furthermore, the camera has an autofocus prediction algorithm that is more advanced compared to its predecessors. All of this enables more comfortable shooting of various types of subjects, including fast-moving vehicles and animals.

Improved features to expand the range of photographic possibilities

• The camera is equipped with a 5-axis image stabilization mechanism in the body with a maximum effectiveness of up to 7,0 EV. Without adversely affecting the mobility and portability of previous X-series models, the image stabilization system allows for comfortable hand-held shooting even in low light conditions (e.g. night scenes), which significantly expands the range of photographic possibilities.
• Possibility of video recording 6.2K/30P. During filming, an autofocus function with object tracking is available.
• It is possible to photograph and record video in AUTO mode. The camera can recognize the nature of the scene and choose the optimal shooting settings - just set the selector on the upper body plate to AUTO mode. The camera will automatically detect the object and track it, keeping it sharp. This makes taking high-quality photos and videos much easier. In the Object Detection settings, select the "BIRD" option to detect insects and the "AIRPLANE" option to detect drones
