Choosing the right food is a very important element in the treatment of cat patients with struvite stones. Proper food helps to restore the pH of urine to the optimal range and contributes to the dissolution of existing struvite stones. Due to the reduced level of minerals, the chance of formation of new crystals is minimized. These special requirements are met by the complete Eminent Veterinary Diet Cat Struvite. One of the functional ingredients of this food is cranberry, which contains proanthocyanidins. These substances have the ability to limit the adhesion of bacteria to the walls of the bladder and the formation of colonies, thus helping to prevent bacterial infections of the entire excretory system.

• Keeps urine pH in the range of 5,8 - 6,4 - at this pH value, the current struvite crystals dissolve and no new ones are formed.
• Increased sodium content stimulates water uptake and thus the production of a larger volume of less concentrated urine.
• Reduced phosphorus and magnesium contributes to the prevention of struvite stones.
• The higher content of omega-3 fatty acids has anti-inflammatory effects.

Recommended period of use: in the initial feeding period up to 3 months. It is recommended to divide the daily dose into 2-3 portions during the day.
