ZIO-2 is a simple set for voice communication between two users containing a 2-seat intercom and headphones for mounting in an open helmet (without jaw guard).
The intercom is powered by two AAA batteries (mini-fingers). It has built-in three mini jacks 3,5mm - two for connecting headsets, and one allowing you to "connect" e.g. MP3 player or mobile phone. Headphone outputs have independent volume control. The operation of the intercom is indicated by a red LED placed on the housing. The intercom has a mounting bracket for the belt.
The helmet mounting kit includes two ultra-thin speakers wrapped in soft "sachets" with velcro sewn on one side and a second set of Velcro used to attach the speakers to the helmet padding. The set also includes a microphone on the gooseneck ending with a foot with a set of fastening Velcro. The headphones together with the microphone have a lead terminated with a mini-Jack 3,5mm plug. The connection to the intercom is made via the included extension cable with spring cable. The extension cord comes with an additional volume control and a mounting clip.
The set also includes a connection cable terminated with two mini-Jack 3,5mm plugs allowing you to connect an external audio device (MP3, IPOD, etc. )
