You do not need to prepare the apartment to start the robot. With a set of sensors inspired by technologies from DJI drones – including a fisheye system and LiDAR semiconductor wide-angle transmitters – the device accurately recognizes objects in its path. What’s more, thanks to machine learning-based algorithms, it can detect small things, such as thin cables (up to 2 millimeters) or small toys. Instead of bypassing entire obstacle zones, the robot maneuvers right next to them, increasing the accuracy of cleaning. And thanks to the fact that it avoids blockages and does not require assistance, you can safely leave it alone at home and return to a perfectly clean space.

The device is well versed in space. It navigates confidently even in dimly lit corners, under low furniture or on dark surfaces. Wide-angle vision and elimination of blind spots allow him to move smoothly among unusually positioned furniture or objects of irregular shapes. The robot itself determines the most effective cleaning routes, reaches hard-to-reach places near the walls, around the legs of tables and chairs, and at the same time avoids obstacles such as socks or animal impurities. After cleaning, he returns to the base station, choosing the shortest and safest route.

The robotic motor with a 9-blade fan made of metal allows for impressive suction power (25 000 Pa) and air flow of 20 l/s. This is enough to effectively remove dust, crumbs, litter, as well as hair and pet hair. DJI ROMO P recognizes the type of dirt and reacts accordingly – it slows down the work of the side brushes so as not to spread dirt, and then increases the power to thoroughly clean the surface. And thanks to its quiet design with soundproofing chamber, it can work even when you are resting.

With two motors driving the brush system, the DJI ROMO P quickly directs debris towards the suction channel. Everything goes directly into the tank – without the risk of clogging. The rubber brush effectively prevents hair from getting tangled, which makes maintaining the robot simple and quick. An additional brush with mixed fibers and rubber elements will work particularly well on carpets and heavily soiled surfaces. The DJI ROMO P is designed to handle where a regular vacuum cleaner fails.

Thanks to a pair of retractable cleaning arms that automatically activate during operation, the DJI ROMO P effectively cleans along edges, in corners, under furniture and in narrow spaces. This solution allows you to get maximum surface coverage – even in rooms full of obstacles.

The 164 ml water tank allows DJI ROMO P to continuously moisten mopping pads. In more demanding places, the robot increases water dosage, and thanks to additional tanks, it can also apply a deodorizing agent or standard detergent. You can choose where and how the agents will be used – for example, in the kitchen to remove greasy stains or throughout the apartment to give the floor a fresh scent. Importantly – before mopping, the DJI ROMO P first sweeps the surface so as not to smear dirt.

The base station analyzes the degree of soiling of the pads and, if necessary, extends the cleaning process. In addition, the DJI ROMO P performs additional mopping runs in areas requiring more intensive care. When the device detects carpet or switches to vacuum mode, it automatically raises the mopping module to avoid wetting the textile surfaces. In mopping mode, it works the opposite way – it lifts the main brush so as not to stain the freshly washed floor.
