TENS mode – pain relief

TENS electrostimulation consists of transdermal nerve stimulation with electrical impulses of different frequencies:

▶ high frequency blocks the transmission of pain signals to the brain,

▶ low frequency facilitates the release of endorphins, which cause a natural analgesic effect.

The effect of TENS electrotherapy is to reduce the pain and discomfort experienced and support local blood circulation in the stimulated area.

EMS mode – muscle training

EMS electrostimulation involves transdermal stimulation of motor nerves in the muscles thanks to the rectangular wave pattern. This causes contraction similar to the work performed during physical activity – it allows passive exercise of muscle groups thanks to the low wave frequency. It is a form of stimulation that supports the treatment of muscle injuries.

The effect of EMS electrostimulation is relaxation of tense muscles after exercise, their activation (e.g. after the immobilization period) and supplementing strengthening training.

Contraindications and precautions

Do not use the m.in device. in the case of:

• pacemaker, implanted defibrillator or other active electronic implants,
• cancerous lesions, wounds, rashes, swelling, redness, infections or inflammation of the skin at the site of the planned procedure,
• serious cerebrovascular problems, e.g. an aneurysm, stroke or transient ischaemia,
• epilepsy,
• acute pain or pain of unknown cause without prior consultation with a specialist,
• Pregnancy, especially in the first trimester.
• Do not place electrodes on the head, face, eye area, front of the neck, heart area, across the chest, near the genitals or on skin with impaired sensation.
• Do not use the device while sleeping, bathing, driving, operating machinery or near electronic monitoring equipment.

FAQ – quick answers to the most common questions

1) Is this device difficult to use?

No. It has a clear screen, simple control and instructions in Polish – you set the program, time and intensity of the procedure.

2) Are 32 programs enough?

Yes. The device has a practically selected database of 32 programs divided into TENS, EMS and MASS and U1-U3 user programs in TENS and EMS modes. Thanks to this, you can use ready-made settings or adjust selected parameters of the treatment to your own feelings and needs.

3) Can I use the device in two places at the same time?

Yes. The electrostimulator has 2 independent channels, so you can conduct stimulation on two areas of the body, e.g. back and knee, with the possibility of separately setting the intensity.

4) Can two people use the device at the same time?

No. The device is designed to be used by one user in one session. Two channels are used to stimulate two areas of the body in the same person.

5) Why can a device lower the intensity to 0?

It's a load detection feature. If the electrodes do not adhere properly to the skin or the device does not detect proper contact, the intensity is automatically lowered to 0. Improve the position of the electrodes and make sure they adhere well to the skin.

6) How to choose intensity?

Start with low levels and increase gradually to a comfortable feeling, e.g. tingling or shrinkage, depending on the mode selected. The procedure should not cause pain.

7) Are the electrodes reusable?

Yes, gel electrodes are reusable. Their service life depends on care, skin type and frequency of use.

8) Can it be used daily?

Many people use the device regularly, but the frequency and time of the session should be selected according to the instructions and their own comfort, and with diseases – with the recommendation of a specialist.
