The YATO YT-01344 ratchet semi-open wrench set is a specialized set of tools designed to handle threaded connections in places with extremely limited access. The unique, semi-open design of the eyelet part allows the wrench to be applied to the nut or screw from the side (e.g. on brake, hydraulic or air conditioning lines), and the integrated rattle mechanism eliminates the need to constantly remove and move the tool. The keys are made of high-quality chrome vanadium steel CrV and equipped with AS-Drive technology.

Innovative design solutions

• 72T Ratchet in a semi-open eye: A precise ratchet mechanism with a fine pitch (72 teeth) needs only 5 degrees of movement to jump to the next tooth. This allows for efficient work in tight spaces where movement with a traditional flat wrench is impossible.
• AS-Drive System: The inner profile of the mesh is designed so that the force is transferred to the planes of the screw head, not to its sharp edges. This prevents the so-called. "treatment" of the screw and allows you to unscrew even slightly damaged nuts.

Service tip: Ratchet semi-open wrenches due to the slit mesh structure have slightly lower resistance to extreme overloads than full, closed eye wrenches. For the initial breaking of extremely baked or rusted brake hose nuts, it is recommended to use a standard, reinforced semi-open wrench without a ratchet, and then continue to quickly unscrew the model YT-01344.

Tool maintenance: The rattle mechanism does not have a rotation direction switch – to change the direction of work (tightening/unscrewing), just turn the key to the other side. After working in a humid or polluted environment, it is worth blowing the rattle with compressed air and letting in a drop of preservative oil.
