The newly enhanced Reality Creation feature ensures that images, diagrams, and text are crisp and sharp, even in bright conditions. There is even an ambient light sensor to measure the brightness in the room.

Support 4K 60P input

Support for 4K 60P input signals simplifies life when using the VPL-PHZ51 projector in multi-screen configurations with flat-screen add-ons. Simply split the same 4K signal to control all displays, without the need for conversion. A high-performance image scaler is also available that effortlessly converts 4K input signals to WUXGA resolution while achieving near 4K image quality. The Reality Creation feature, now optimized for 4K60P signals, is a unique image enhancement feature from Sony that gives your displayed images even more clarity and depth. There is also support for devices with content protection, such as 4K UHD players.

Enjoy flexible installation options with a large lens offset range of +55%, making it easy to get perfectly proportioned images without long pole mounts or trapezoid correction when the projector is mounted on the ceiling. We have also expanded the projection factor range, simplifying the replacement of a previously installed projector without having to reposition an existing ceiling mount.

Protection against dust

The laser light source is sealed to prevent dust buildup and eliminate reduced brightness. The dedicated cooling channel structure for the projector's 3LCD panels is covered with an air filter to prevent dust from entering.

Effortless filter care

Focus on great looking images instead of time-consuming maintenance. The new dust filtering system makes filter replacement a thing of the past for general use in classrooms and conference rooms. * Dust density < 0,03 mg/m 3 and working time < 10 500 hours. (1500 hours per year for 7 years).

Data cloning

The settings of one projector can be copied to other projectors using a USB drive. This greatly simplifies the installation and configuration of multiple projectors.

Automatic input selection

The automatic input selection function automatically selects the active signal input, so there is no need to change the input every time the device is connected to the projector.

Automatic switching on

Connect the VPL-PHZ51 projector to the computer on and the projector will turn on automatically, without the need for a power button.
