Rich Color Enhancer brings the work of the creator to life
Rich Color Enhancer is the original 2-mode color optimization technology. Dynamic mode balances brightness and color for good visibility in bright environments. Standard mode optimizes color reproduction by extending the output of the red channel to produce vibrant red. This is crucial for accurate and engaging reproduction of compositions and other color-rich content.
Improved dynamic contrast deepens immersion
With a higher contrast ratio of 25 000:1 1, Evolved Dynamic Contrast offers a new scene analysis circuit that accurately detects light and dark areas, making the difference between black, white and contrasting colors dramatically visible.
1 Full on/total off with dynamic contrast set to [3]. Measurement, measurement conditions and notation method comply with international standards ISO/IEC 21118:2020.
Remove bands with Gradation Smoother
Gradation Smoother reduces bands in shaded color gradients that can be seen in images lacking sufficient color bit depth. Use the projector remote to select one of three levels of correction depending on the intensity of the bands or turn it off when not needed. Gradation Smoother saves lives when bands are visible and there is no time to re-edit content.
Adjusting black levels on curved screens
Panasonic solves the problem of black uniformity in mixed areas on curved screens with more flexible adjustment adapted to any screen shape. Up to 17 checkpoints can be used to change the shape of black frames for a symmetrical fit without distortion. Black levels can be precisely set with a half-pixel margin for smooth mixing, even at close viewing distances.
Adjust black levels inside and outside the image display area
Improved black level correction also eliminates black level protrusions that appear in transitions outside the image display area after applying a geometric match. By disconnecting the black level and geometric fit, you can apply the black level settings to the entire mix, including overlapping images outside the display area of the image to get a smooth image across multiple screens.
The ability to disconnect the black level adjustment from the geometric adjustment is only supported on flat screens when adjacent images are aligned vertically or horizontally.
Smooth playback of 2K/240 Hz content
The REQ12 series can play 2K/240Hz1 video with an input-output delay of just 6ms2, smoothly reproducing fast-moving objects and action sequences with minimal blur. High-speed 2K/240 Hz1 content can be displayed on multiple screens with edge-joining enabled, making the REQ15 series ideal for sharing action with your audience during esports events or for any application where smooth movement and fast response are important. The projectors also support the optional real-time projection mapping system ET-SWR103 from Panasonic. This ready-to-use Software Development Kit (SDK) works with infrared cameras, enabling image projection on fast-moving objects at 2K/240 Hz1, enabling seamless connection of digital and analog worlds in an interactive XR attraction.
1 The frame rate of the display corresponds to the frame rate of the input signal.
2 Varies depending on input signal, peripherals and other factors.
3 The optional ET-SWR10 is used in conjunction with third-party devices (sold separately). Compatibility with third-party devices cannot be guaranteed.
Compact design simplifies complex workflows

Intelligent projector control app streamlines workflow
Smart Projector Control1 allows you to control up to 64 projectors from your phone or tablet. Allows you to adjust projector settings from your device, which is useful when OSD menu projection is not possible.
In addition to supporting wireless LAN connection, which is common to the REQ15 series, the REQ15 also supports only the new USB Connect Control2 feature. This feature allows you to connect your device via USB, and the app simulates the projector OSD settings menu on your device screen. Other features include test pattern selection, shutter control, access to the control user interface over the network, lens settings adjustment, brightness blocking and focus adjustment using the device camera3 from up to 30 m away
(98 ft)4. The application allows you to quickly connect to the projector by scanning the QR5 code, eliminating the entry of the password / SSID.
Save pre-configuration preparation time with NFC
NFC1 allows you to prepare the projector for configuration at the scene when AC power is unavailable or OSD projection is not possible. Simply place your phone on the NFC sticker to connect, and use the Smart Projector Control2 app to adjust settings such as projector ID and IP address. Prepare for a network connection and configure when power is started on site, avoiding delays. After the projector setting event, you can reset to the factory default settings after disconnecting from power, which previously required OSD menu projection.
1 Projectors sold in some countries or regions require PASS’ ET-NUK10 upgrade kit to activate NFC functionality.
Geo Pro automates matching and mixing
The REQ15 series offers built-in geometric adjustment tools, including a point Free Grid feature for correcting localized screen distortion. It includes pre-activated licenses for Geo Pro software update kits, including ET-UK20 Geometry Manager Pro Software Upgrade Kit,which extends functionality and adds advanced line masking tools, shapes and bitmaps, and ET-CUK10 Auto Screen Adjustment Upgrade Kit,which automates edge mixing, including brightness calibration, color and level of black with the camera.
Quickly find the projection angle with the angle monitor
The REQ15 series supports 360° projection angles, allowing you to map images to floors, walls and 3D objects. However, adjusting the projection angle to simulate a project can be difficult and requires two people. The projectors are equipped with a gyroscopic sensor that detects changes in projector tilt and tilt angles, displayed graphically in the OSD settings menu. Installers can adjust the projection angle without the need for assistance.
They serve only as a reference and their accuracy is not guaranteed.
New screen marker function
REQ15 adds a screen marker feature that simplifies adjustment and measurement. The Line Frame tool supports adjustable vertical-horizontal margin lines that allow you to pre-adjust the projector before configuring peripherals and a cross-stamp for constant point measurement.
Updated network control interface
REQ15 has an updated Web Control interface that supports dark and light modes. The information in the user interface has been reorganized to improve visibility. You can set projector command schedules such as power on/off, view the projector OSD settings menu on the screen, and adjust the device status information on the home screen. Other updates include adaptive screen sizes and improved mobile versions for efficient management.
Superior reliability for long-lasting use
Optical dust-resistant motor and liquid cooling system.
The REZ15 series optical motor and laser light source comply with IP5X (IEC 60529)1 dust protection standard. This eliminates the need for a filter and enables 20 000 hours2 of maintenance-free projection. Reliability has been confirmed by accelerated tests in the dust chamber under much dustier conditions than those in which some competitors’ products are tested.
1 There is no certainty that the operation of this dust-protected device will be free from damage or failure in all conditions (environment with conductive dust, etc. ). Please use the enclosure in environments where there is smoke containing oil, salt and moisture.
2 Around this time, the luminous flux will decrease by about 50%. IEC62087:2008 Broadcast Contents, NORMAL mode, dynamic contrast [3], temperature 35 °C (95 °F), height 700 m (2,297 ft) with 0.15 mg/m 3 airborne particulate matter. Panasonic recommends checking the equipment at the point of purchase after about 20 000 hours. The life of the light source may be shortened depending on ambient conditions. Replacement of parts other than the light source may be required after a shorter period of time. Estimated maintenance time varies depending on the environment.
Excessive backup input
Two identical signals can be transmitted simultaneously to HDMI 1 (basic) and HDMI 2 (spare). If the transmission to the primary input is interrupted, the projector will automatically switch to a backup in at least 0,3 seconds1 without the screen going out. This layer of security provides more peace of mind during events where the display of the image cannot be interrupted.
1 Varies depending on the backup input mode and the connected external device.
The input signals for the primary and backup inputs must be identical.
Multi-scale drive motor increases reliability
Many laser modules are equipped with failover circuits. In the unlikely event of a single diode failure, the Circuitry failover continues to supply electricity to the functional diodes in the series, minimizing loss of brightness. If the same problem occurs in projectors without failover circuits, all diodes in the module can turn off, causing a significant loss of brightness.
Reduce errors with LITE remote preview
LITE remote preview allows projectors to confirm connectivity and evaluate image matches before displaying video by displaying preview thumbnails on a laptop. This is useful during live events where checking content on the screen is limited due to sound attempts or sunlight. Available through software or a web browser, it works with the projector in standby mode1 or with the shutter on, minimizing errors before performances.
1 The projector must be set in Pre-Show mode.
