As part of the visual systems in simulators and based on the knowledge gained from experience with near-zero-latency displays used in games, the LU960ST uses fast mode to provide latency of just 16,67 ms* (@WUXGA 60Hz).

White balance calibration for smooth edge mixing

BenQ’s exclusive white balance adjustments can reduce the white balance variables between images displayed from different projectors to such a low level that most people cannot see any difference. This allows for smooth and accurate image quality without disruptive discrepancies.

Ensure consistent brightness mixing with custom lighting mode

Custom lighting mode modulates light output from 25% to 100% at a rate of 1%, optimizing the displayed image in a variety of ambient lighting situations. This is especially useful for mixing consistent brightness across multiple projections.

Short throw design for unobstructed viewing without space constraints

Ideal for interior simulation and retail applications, the LU960ST is equipped with a short throw lens that will fill a 12 ft. wide screen from less than 10 ft. away. This allows you to position the projector so that you can stand closer to the screen without casting a shadow.

Zoom and lens offset for mounting flexibility

The LU960ST has both a 1,1X zoom function and vertical/horizontal lens movement, allowing the projector to be mounted in a protected area while providing a fully aligned image on the screen. You can move the image up and down to 62% of the screen height – and adjust the horizontal position by 24% for off-axis mounting. The zoom lens can zoom in or out, allowing you to change the mounting position by up to a foot on a fourteen-foot-wide screen.

360° projection and portrait fit into different spaces

Laser technology guarantees reliable projection from all angles. Dynamic installation options, such as 360° rotation and portrait applications, allow projection on ceilings, walls, floors or at an angle.

Lens lock and metal lens body

Most simulation solutions use several projectors that perform mixing to create a panoramic view.
