MCTV-517 is a 6-port PoE switch (4 PoE, 2x Uplink) designed for e.g. connection and power supply of IP / IPC cameras operating in the IEEE 802.3af / at standard. The switch on ports 1 to 4 has the function of automatic detection of devices powered in the PoE standard . The port marked UPLINK is used to connect another network device .
On the front panel, there is a LED diode signaling of the device's operating status. PoE technology provides network connectivity and reduces installation costs by eliminating the need to run a separate power cable for each device. In addition to cameras , network devices that use this technology can be powered in this way , e.g. IP phone, access point, router.
The switch is equipped with two uplink ports . Useful in installations where you need to connect a second switch, computer, recorder + router etc.
