What size muzzle to choose?

The synthetic leather muzzle from amiplay was created for safe visits to the veterinarian without forgetting about the comfort of the pet.

To choose the right size, measure the circumference of the dog's neck with a soft measuring cup (on the neck behind the ears) - measurement B, and the muzzle (close to the head) - measurement A as in the figure above. Then compare the measurement with the size chart.

How to fit a muzzle?

The muzzle should be adjusted so that in the tightest setting it fits tightly to the dog's neck, without suffocating it. On the muzzle should closely adhere preventing the bite of the veterinarian or caregiver during treatments. The muzzle can be conveniently fastened with Velcro, while adjusting the circumference. To avoid changing the size, a tape with a regulator is sewn in. Large adjustment range allows for a good fit to the dog. It is made of imitation leather, which makes the muzzle more comfortable to use. It is durable, soft and does not cause burns. Cleaning is simple and not a problem, just wipe it with a cloth or wash it in lukewarm water.

veterinary muzzles are not suitable for everyday use during walks or travel. They should not be used especially during high temperatures. Soaking in a dog is his only way to cool the body. Unlike humans, dogs do not sweat through the skin. When the pet is not able to open its mouth freely, it is at risk of overheating the body quickly.
