Sendy Apollo with solutions from the flagship

Apollo is an open-source headphone that can be described as a more affordable version of Sendy Peacock's flagship model. They are also based on a planar transducer with the proprietary QUAD-FORMER technology, but it has been equipped with a smaller 68 mm diaphragm.

This solution invariably guarantees sensational sound quality, thanks to the great speed and high efficiency of electro-acoustic energy conversion. Sendy Apollo is an incredibly natural sound with beautiful, smooth vocals, tight low tones that extend very low and clear and extremely detailed highs. The headphones are characterized by a clear and transparent sound stage.

Apollos have a headband known from the popular Sendy Aiva model, which is very light and comfortable. The stylish shells are made of rosewood with a glossy surface, and they are also distinguished by stylish covers with a characteristic black pattern.

Sendy DAC with QUAD-FORMER technology

Sendy Apollo is distinguished by the original design of the planar converter, which is based on the QUAD-FORMER technology. This means that each driver has two magnets and two coils on each side of the diaphragm. The use of four coils for each diaphragm allows better control of its vibration, and double magnets ensure even distribution of the magnetic field. This translates into significantly better magnetic energy conversion and a very low distortion, which significantly improves the sound reproduction to make it feel like listening to music at a concert.

A specially prepared composite membrane

The diaphragm used in the Senda Apollo model is the result of three years of experiments by the team on the implementation of new materials in the creation of planar transducers. This enabled the preparation of a composite solution with perfectly matched thickness and hardness.

The part made of a material with high internal damping guarantees natural and slightly warmed vocals as well as strong, dynamic and low-reaching low tones. The other part of the diaphragm is made of ultra-thin and very hard material that perfectly reproduces high tones and allows them to be extended up to 40 kHz. Thanks to this, the Apollos have a lively, energetic and detailed, but at the same time natural and devoid of sharpness treble.

Sendy Apollo is distinguished by beautiful shells made of high-quality rosewood wood. They are created in the process of precise machine cutting (CNC), and then subjected to multi-stage processing (polishing, painting and drying several times), the purpose of which is to give a beautiful, shiny and smooth surface.

Apollo are characteristic silver steel grills with a black cover that creates a pattern resembling the sun on the surface (this is where the name of the model comes from). The combination of black and gold adds charm to the design, and precisely positioned vents improve sound reproduction and the feeling of spaciousness.

Elegant, durable and comfortable Apollo headband

Apollo has a specially designed, one-piece headband with angled ear shells, which increases wearing comfort. It is made of high-strength, aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, which is precision machine cut (CNC).

The headband is made of high-quality lambskin, which is soft and fits comfortably around the head. The adjustment mechanism allows you to adjust the height of the headband to the size of the head, which further increases the comfort. Sendy Apollo are headphones that do not get tired even during longer listening sessions.

High-quality Sendy Audio pads as standard

Sendy Audio has prepared special pads for the Apollo model, which are made of high-quality foam and soft and durable artificial leather. They ensure comfortable adherence to the head. The pads have the shape of a bowl, thanks to which they easily surround the ears and do not put pressure on it in any place. The proprietary pads are extremely easy to install, which makes them easy to replace, and the large "R" and "L" marks allow for instant page identification.

It includes, m.in. a hard protective case made of leather and a high-quality 8-core 6N OCC copper cable, which guarantees great quality of sound transmission.
