Why is it worth cleaning the milk system?

Milk leaves greasy deposits and protein residues in the machine, which can dry in the wires and nozzles. Lack of regular cleaning can cause an unpleasant smell, deterioration of the taste of milk coffees, weaker frothing of milk, as well as problems with milk flow.

Regular use of COFFEMA helps to keep the milk system clean and in good condition.

Instructions for use

Prepare the cleaning solution: mix 15 ml of COFFEMA liquid with 100 ml of water.

Pour the prepared solution into a milk container or a separate dish, according to the design of your machine.

Place the milk hose in the cleaning solution.

Run the milk system cleaning program or milk collection/foaming function in the machine, according to the user manual of the device.

After cleaning, empty the dish with the solution.

Prepare clean water and start rinsing the milk system to thoroughly remove the residue of the cleaner.

If necessary, rinse with clean water.

Dosage

Recommended proportion: 15 ml of liquid per 100 ml of water.

Examples of quantities:

15 ml of liquid + 100 ml of water – standard cleaning,

30 ml of liquid + 200 ml of water – more solution,

45 ml of liquid + 300 ml of water – with a longer cleaning program,

60 ml of liquid + 400 ml of water – with larger systems or more intensive cleaning.

The bottle features a convenient dosing chamber with 20 ml, 40 ml, and 60 ml markings, making it easy to measure the liquid.

How often to use?

We recommend cleaning the milk system regularly, especially after preparing milk drinks. For daily use of the machine, it is best to clean the milk system daily or according to the recommendations of the machine manufacturer.
