The STAR RIVER 2 tent is a great option for hikers who are looking for the lightest and most sturdy tent possible at a reasonable price. Less than 2 kg (or a little over when you take an additional mat) thrown into a backpack or pannier is unlikely to push you into the ground ;) And in this weight it holds a solid, strong and easily unfolding two-person tent with a water resistance of up to 4000 mm. In addition, it is quite comfortable: a well ventilated bedroom measuring 215 x 135 cm and two entrances + vestibules 60 cm deep. In the middle of the bedroom you will also find a hook for a lamp.
The tent has an additional mat weighing 260 g, which is actually the second, stronger floor, which additionally insulates from the ground, protects against damage and further increases water resistance. You can decide whether it is worth taking it for a given trip or not it is necessary and you can reduce the grams carried.
The tent unfolds very comfortably - you can attach the tropics to the frame with strong and convenient Duraflex buckles. All tent seams are taped.
