2. Properties and application
Single-sided adhesive packing tape with hot-melt adhesive has a wide range of applications. It works in places where it is difficult to imagine life without adhesive tapes, such as warehouses, offices or postal departments. Packing tape with hot-melt adhesive is used primarily for sealing cartons by both manual and automatic methods.
Packing tape on hot-melt glue is characterized by high adhesiveness and initial adhesive strength. It is perfect for sealing both light and heavy packages. It is characterized by the best resistance at positive temperatures. Due to its limited resistance to aggressive chemical products and plasticizers, it is a good choice for indoor applications.
3. Guidelines for use
- The tape should be applied at temperatures above +5 °C,
- At the time of application of the tape, the packaging should be dry and clean,
- Strong pressing of the tape to the surface will help in obtaining proper adhesion of the tape to the ground,
- Operating temperature -10°C to +50°C.
