The basic body temperature, or BBT, is the temperature of the body at full rest.

Measuring it regularly can help you observe temperature changes occurring at different stages of the cycle.

After ovulation, the basal temperature usually rises and remains at a higher level for some time. The most important, however, is not a single result, but a regularly observed trend.

The Easy@Home thermometer allows you to take daily measurements and save them in the Premom app.

The device shows the temperature to two decimal places.

This makes it easier to notice small differences between measurements made in the following days.

Regular measurements help to create an individual base temperature chart and better understand the course of your own cycle.

After the measurement, simply manually enter the temperature into the Premom application.

The application saves the results, creates a BBT chart and makes it easier to compare temperatures from the following days.

Observing BBT can provide additional support for women planning pregnancy and wanting to get to know their body better.

DO NOT RELY ON A SINGLE MEASUREMENT. OBSERVE THE ENTIRE CHART.

Body temperature can change due to many factors.

Importance may include, among others:

✅ time of measurement,

✅ length and quality of sleep,

✅ infection or elevated temperature,

✅ alcohol consumption,

✅ stress and fatigue,

✅ getting out of bed before measuring,

✅ eating or drinking before the test,

✅ change of measurement method.

For the most comparable results, the temperature shall be measured:

⏰ every day at a similar time,

🛏 immediately after waking up,

✅ before getting out of bed,

✅ before eating and drinking,

✅ before the interview and more activity,

✅ after at least 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep,

✅ always with the same thermometer,

✅ always the same way.

The thermometer is best stored next to the bed so that you do not have to get up or perform additional activities after waking up.

1 Before measuring, clean the thermometer tip.

2 Press the on button.

3 Wait until the flashing symbol “Lo” and the unit °C or °F appear on the display.

4 Place the tip of the thermometer under your tongue.

5 Close your mouth and keep the thermometer still.

6 Wait about 60 seconds for the measurement to complete.

7 After hearing the sound signal, remove the thermometer.

8 Read the result on the display.

9 Enter the resulting temperature into the Premom app.

10 After use, clean the end of the device again.

Do not speak, open your mouth or move the thermometer during measurement. Also, do not bite the flexible tip.

🌡 WHY A REGULAR THERMOMETER MAY NOT BE ENOUGH?

Changes in basal body temperature during the cycle may be minor.

An ordinary thermometer showing the result only to one decimal place may not show all the subtle differences.

The Easy@Home basal thermometer displays the result with an accuracy of 0,01°C.
