Description
The KAmodRPi5 PCIe-M.2 adapter is a solution that allows you to seamlessly connect your NVME SSD to the M.2 M-KEY connector with your Raspberry Pi 5 computer. Thanks to its universal design, the adapter allows you to mount disks of the popular size 2280, as well as smaller variants: 2260, 2242 and 2230. It is designed to occupy the standard space intended for HAT expansion modules, but at the same time does not limit the possibility of using a heat sink with a fan dedicated to the Raspberry Pi 5. The adapter is easy to mount on the Raspberry Pi 5 and can be connected to it via a 40-pin GPIO connector and FFC 16/0,5 tape (it is also possible to connect only using FFC tape). The adapter draws power directly from the Raspberry Pi 5 computer, so it is recommended to use a power supply for the Raspberry Pi 5 with appropriate parameters - at least 3 A, at 5,1 V. Indicators in the form of LEDs indicating the correct power supply and disk activity allow the user to monitor the operating status.
