ALPINESTARS SUPERTECH M7 HELMET

Designed with off-road racing in mind, the S-M7 helmet is optimized to provide the perfect blend of excellent ventilation and comfort in a lightweight helmet, while its highly aerodynamic composite shell provides exceptional impact protection. In addition to Alpinestars ' patented A-Head Fitment and Visor Detaching systems, the S-M7 features innovative PLASMA technology on the lower edge of the shell, which ensures optimal energy dissipation in the event of contact with the collarbone area.

DESIGN:

• The multi-layer shell is made from a blend of glass, carbon and aramid fibers, providing an optimal combination of impact protection and force dispersion, sliding properties, energy absorption, stability and durability.
• The patented A-Head Fitment System allows for easy adjustment of the angle and height at which the helmet sits on the head.
• Ultra-ventilated helmet with 20 individual intake and exhaust ports, excluding the eye port, with 13 intakes and 7 exhaust ports for optimal ventilation.
• Eject Removal System Ready: The helmet is designed to accept the Eject Removal System, which includes a removable liner on top of the EPS.
• Removable lining: The 3D foam lining provides optimal comfort and has been treated with an antibacterial agent for long-lasting freshness.
• The fit of the S-M7 helmet can be further customised with Alpinestars original replacement cheek pads, which are available in all thicknesses and are interchangeable between all shell sizes.
• Lightweight: ECE 1280 g and DOT 1340 g for size medium.
• The S-M7 helmet is available in 2 versions: compliant with ECE2206 and DOT homologation standards.

• Patented Visor Removal System: The patented visor removal system on the S-M7 is designed to detach in a crash, reducing the risk of helmet damage or rotational injury.
• The S-M7 visor is designed to automatically separate from the shell in the event of an impact of more than 15 joules, providing optimal impact protection, regardless of direction.
• Shell Sizing for Optimal Fit: The S-M7 shell sizing solution ensures that each helmet size is anatomically tailored to a wide range of user needs worldwide, offering 3 different helmet shell sizes and 6 consumer sizes from XS to XXL to ensure riders get the correct fit that not only improves comfort and reduces overall weight, but most importantly improves the helmet's performance in the event of an impact.
• Hydration system ready: The helmet has integrated channels on both sides that allow for the installation of a hydration system.

SECURITY:

• The helmet shell design uses advanced pre-impregnated composite molding technology, which provides improved mechanical properties at a very low overall weight.
• The unique shell layering process used in the S-M7 construction provides extremely effective impact protection. The linear and oblique impact performance of the S-M7 helmet significantly exceeds current helmet regulatory standards.
• Special protection against rotational impacts is provided by the combination of the internal shape and special coating of the EPS liner, combined with the specially developed surface of the comfort liner. This Alpinestars patented shell technology reduces rotational acceleration transferred to the rider's head: the S-M7 helmet exceeds the new ECE 22.06 standard for maximum rotational acceleration by 76%.
• Contoured chin guard provides proven impact protection.
