The thickness of the tape affects the force needed to stretch it, the thicker the harder it is. The colour of the tape also indicates the resistance scale (in brackets resistance in kg):

- yellow - Medium (9-16kg)
- red - Heavy (13-20kg)
- black - X-Heavy (18-23kg).
The rubbers are made of flexible and durable latex.
