Instructions for taking care of a meat grinder

1. Cleaning after each use

• After completing the work dismantle all elements: chamber, auger, knife, strainer, cap and pusher.
• Wash them in warm water with mild detergent using a soft brush or sponge.
• Do not leave any leftover meat – they can dry out and make cleaning difficult.
• Avoid washing in the dishwasher if the manufacturer does not recommend it – high temperature can damage plastic or rubber elements.

2. Drying and maintenance

• After washing dry thoroughly all parts with a paper towel.
• Metal elements (auger, knife, strainer) can be gently greased with cooking oil to prevent corrosion.
• Before reassembling, make sure all parts are completely dry.

3. Shooting and status control

• Regularly check the sharpness of the knife and the smoothness of the surface of the strainer.
• Blunt elements cause engine overload and uneven grinding.
• Replace worn-out parts with genuine or compatible replacements.

4. Proper installation

• Make sure all the pieces are well fitted and embedded.
• The knife should adhere flat to the strainer, without slack.
• Do not tighten the fastening nut too tightly – this can cause excessive friction.

5. Storage
