Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Switches

Keychron K2 HE is equipped with factory lubricated Gateron Double-Rail magnetic switches and advanced TMR sensors. This ensures that the keyboard delivers exceptionally stable, smooth, and responsive performance, with lightning-fast response times and precise control over every press.

Advanced TMR sensors

Tunneling Magnetoresistance technology precisely detects distance and changes in magnetic field through subtle changes in resistance. Each key has its own TMR sensor, which translates into high accuracy, very low latency and a great experience using magnetic switches.

Magnetic field sensitivity: up to 100 mV/V/Oe.

Adjustable activation point

Customize each key to suit your needs by setting the activation point from 0,2 to 3,8 mm with an accuracy of 0,1 mm. Plated presses will work well for fast actions, and deeper ones with more conscious control, reducing accidental clicks.

Last Key Priority and Snap Click

Last Key Priority prioritizes the last key pressed, facilitating smooth direction changes in games like Valorant. Snap Click gives preference to a deeper pressed key when two keys are pressed simultaneously.

Features are disabled by default, but can be easily activated in the Keychron Launcher app.

One key, many actions

With Dynamic Keystrokes, you can assign up to 4 different actions to a single key depending on the depth of the press. A slight press can be responsible for movement, stronger for running, and releasing the key for subsequent commands.

Dynamic Rapid Trigger

The keys activate and reset depending on the actual movement of the switch, not the fixed activation point. This allows for faster responses, more precise control, and more efficient execution of complex actions in dynamic games.

2,4 GHz connection and Bluetooth

Compatibility with various devices

Keychron K2 HE is designed for Mac users while maintaining full compatibility with Windows. The set includes additional keycaps for both systems and a mode switch. The keyboard lets you save two separate layouts — one for macOS and one for Windows.

Hot-swap

Unlike classic mechanical switches, magnetic switches detect presses with magnets. Their replacement is simple and quick, provided that compatible magnetic switches are used.

K2 HE is only compatible with double-rail magnetic switches sold on the Keychron website.

Improved stabilizers

The new stabilizers have reinforced sidewalls around the stem, which increases protection and improves the stability of larger keys such as space bar, Shift, Enter or Delete. This makes writing smoother, quieter, and more predictable.

Dynamic backlight control

The keyboard offers over 22 RGB backlight modes, including static white light. The advanced system allows you to use per-key RGB and Mix RGB backlighting, as well as conveniently customize effects and key mapping, creating your own style of work or play.
