Prekė: Maisto papildas Vitamin D3K2 (menaquinone-7, MK-7) 20ml DR JACOBS. Kategorija: Sąnariai, kaulai, raumenys.

  • Gamintojas: Dr. Jacob's Medical

High-quality vitamins D3 and K2 (menaquinone-7, MK-7, MenaQ-7) dissolved in organic, hypoallergenic sunflower oil.

Dr. Jacob's Vitamin D3 is extracted from lanolin from sheep wool (extracted by UV radiation).

Vitamin K2 Dr. Jacob's is special because it is obtained from essential oils in the process of organic synthesis. This ensures the highest amount of pure menaquinone-7 (MK-7), its excellent bioavailability and bioactivity, and the absence of GMO contaminants (more at the end of the description).

Vegetarian product.

One drop of Vitamin D3K2 contains:

20 μg (800 IU) vitamin D3

18,75 μg vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7).

A combination of vitamins very important for health. Their amount and proportions are selected so that not only properly absorb calcium, but also that it goes in the body where it should, e.g. to the bones, not to the walls of blood vessels. Easy to digest: vitamins D and K already dissolved in high-quality, hypoallergenic sunflower oil.

Vitamin D is produced by skin exposed to the right amount of sunlight. In the case of insufficient sun (in Poland most of the year) or sunbathing with sunscreen, the food itself will not meet the demand for this vitamin. In our climate, too little vitamin D is common. The ability of the skin to produce vitamin D decreases with age.

Vitamin K2 in the form of menaquinone-7 is particularly well absorbed and has a long period of stable duration. This vitamin has a beneficial effect on blood clotting. Together with vitamin D, it works together to create and renew healthy strong bones and teeth.

Ingredients: sunflower oil (94%), antioxidant: extract rich in tocopherol (natural vitamin E), vitamin D3, menaquinone (vitamin K2 MK-7).

The portion recommended for consumption during the day and the method of administration:

- for adults and children over 1 years: 1 drops.

- maximum portion for consumption during the day for adults: 4 drops.

Drizzle into the mouth and spread over it with your tongue.

Content in: vitamin D3 vitamin K2

5 drops / ZDS* 100μg** (4000 IU) / 2000%*** 100μg = 125%

4 drops / ZDS* 80μg** (3200 IU) / 1600%*** 75μg = 100%

2 drops / ZDS 40μg (1600 IU) / 800% 37,5μg = 50%

1 drops / ZDS 20μg (800 IU) / 400% 18,75μg = 25%

* recommended daily intake; ** microgram; ***% of recommended daily intake.

NOTE: 1600% of the recommended daily intake does not mean overdose. The recommended daily intake of vitamin D is 5μg, while the maximum safe daily intake set by EFSA is approx. 250μg. 80μg is therefore a very safe dose.

Age Recommended daily intake

Children under 12 months 10 μg = 400 IU 4-10 μg

Children (1 to 15 years) 20 μg = 800 IU 15-50 μg

Adolescents and adults 20 μg = 800 IU 60-80 μg

Pregnant and lactating women 20 μg = 800 IU 60 μg

Excessive supply of vitamin D is possible not by excessive exposure to the sun, but by excessive and long-term (for many months) oral consumption, mainly of vitamin D supplements. Symptoms such as: constant thirst, frequent urination, feeling of dullness, restlessness, weakness and easy fatigue, lack of appetite, vomiting, itchy skin, headache, formation of kidney stones or calcification of the kidneys, high blood pressure. For medical reasons, periodic, even very high vitamin D intake may be indicated.

Excessive supply of vitamin K has not been observed so far.

Do not exceed the portion recommended for consumption during the day. A dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. People taking anticoagulants (vitamin K antagonists like coumarin anticoagulant) should consult their doctor about taking the product!

Keep out of the reach of small children at 6-25°C away from sunlight. Once opened, use within 6 months.

Fermentation and organic synthesis

There are two ways to produce vitamin K2 – in the process of soybean fermentation and in the process of organic synthesis from vegetable essential oils.

Fermentation of soybean

In the production of vitamin K2 MK-7 in the fermentation process, bacterial preparations and special solvents are added to the soybeans. As a result of using this method, many side substances are always formed, including other menaquinones, e.g. MK-4, -8, -9. Many of them are unnecessary or have cis forms (not bioavailable). The amount of such impurities depends on the quality of fermentation.

Since soybeans are used for production, its allergens may also be present in the final extract. Unfortunately, it is often not known whether the soybeans used are genetically modified. Vitamin K2 obtained in this way is determined by the producers: “from natto”, “from soybean fermentation”, etc.

Organic synthesis process from vegetable essential oils

Synthesis is a process of joining (not to be confused with synthetic - artificial)

The method of obtaining K2 by organic synthesis was invented in 2006 by Norwegian researcher Dr. Inger Reidun Aukrust and his team. They found a way to produce pure all-trans MK-7 (menaquinone-7, MenaQ-7) of vitamin K2 from natural plant essential oils: geraniol* and farnesol**, in a tightly controlled organic synthesis process.

There are two types of vitamin K2 molecules – cis and trans. Cis forms are biologically inactive, while trans forms have their full biological potential. Most of the vitamin K2 products on the market come from the fermentation process and contain K2 in cis and trans forms. The advantage of the synthesis method is that only vitamin K2 is obtained in the pure, best and fully bioavailable form of MK-7. And that's the form in Dr. Jacob's products.

Since soy is not used in the organic synthesis process, possible GMO contaminants are also avoided and a product safe for allergy sufferers is obtained.

*Geraniol – an organic chemical compound from the group of unsaturated terpene alcohols. It is found in essential oils. It has an intense fragrance associated with freshness and geraniums, which is why it is often used in many fragrance compositions used in perfumes. It is obtained from rose, geranium and lemon oil.

**Farnezole – an organic chemical compound, alcohol from the group of terpenes, used mainly as a fragrance with the smell of lily of the valley. It is a component of many essential oils, including lily of the valley, lime, nutmeg and acacia. It is obtained from linden flower oils. It is used in the perfume and cosmetics industry

***Bioavailability (bioavailability) – determines the degree of absorption of the substance that enters the circulation and is actually used by the body.
