Devil's Claw is a plant with many names - devil's claw, claw; hook-growth, Devil's Claw, harpagophytum procumbens; it comes from the desert in southern Africa. Devil's Claw supports the health and functioning of joints and strengthens the musculoskeletal system.

Properties:
The devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens), whose name comes from the striking appearance of its fruits, comes from the savannahs of South Africa. It has been used for centuries (if not millennia) by the peoples of the Kalahari region to treat diseases such as fever, gastrointestinal diseases and skin problems.
In the early 1900s Devil's Claw was introduced to Europe, where dried roots were used to restore appetite, relieve heartburn, and reduce pain and inflammation.
Black claw contains several active compounds that are used to make herbal supplements. First of all, iridoid glycosides, especially harpagoside, which has anti-inflammatory effects, as well as sugars, sterols, phenolic acids, fats and waxes.
