• Sulphuric amino acids (methionine and cystine) are involved in the synthesis of keratin – the building protein of hair and nails
• Silica contained in bamboo shoots is the structural building block of connective tissue from which the skin is built
• Vitamin B6 helps in the proper synthesis of cysteine (sulfuric amino acid) and contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity
• Copper helps maintain proper pigmentation of hair and skin
• Copper and zinc help protect cells from oxidative stress, which is one of the reasons for skin aging
• Zinc helps maintain healthy: skin, hair and nails
• Pantothenic acid contributes to the proper synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones and vitamin D
