Dietary supplement

Bromelain is a digestive enzyme belonging to the group of hydrolases, which supports the digestion of proteins supplied with the diet. Enzymes from this group are active throughout the body also after oral administration.

Bromelain by Solgar is obtained from fresh pineapples, and the production process used allows to maintain its full enzymatic activity. Unlike many cheaper preparations in which bromelain is obtained from the pineapple stem, Solgar uses an enzyme naturally found in fruits, characterized by a different activity profile.

The effectiveness of bromelain has been scientifically proven – already in 1975 it was recognized as an active functional ingredient, and since then it has been the subject of over 250 scientific publications.

Ingredients

Bromelain (from fresh pineapples), maltodextrin, bulking agent: cellulose, glazing agent: hydroxypropylcellulose, stabilizer: cross-linked cellulose rubber, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, bulking agent: citric acid, emulsifier: lecithin (soy).

*GDU (Gelatin Digesting Units) – units determining the ability of bromelain to digest gelatin.

Recommended use
