Properties:
Tendons are made of 85% durable collagen fibers, and their role is to connect (connective tissue) muscles with bones, which allows movement in the joints. Mucopolysaccharides in combination with proteins are approx. 10-15% articular cartilage.
Glucosamine is a mucopolysaccharide that is part of the structures of cartilage and connective tissue and forms a skeleton for collagen fibers. Glucosamine is also an important component of synovial fluid; it participates in the production of proteoglycans, important components of connective tissue.
Vitamin C enables the production of collagen, the main component of articular cartilage, responsible for its strength; together with vitamin E, it also protects against oxidative stress (the action of free radicals).
Vitamin D supports the absorption of calcium and together with vitamin K helps maintain proper bone structure.
Usage:
