Betaina HCl is otherwise trimethylglycine, which has been combined with hydrochloric acid.

Betaine serves in the body as a donor of methyl residues, while hydrochloric acid is naturally produced in the stomach and supports the process of protein digestion. Hydrochloric acid fights harmful microorganisms that can enter the stomach from food, and additionally supports the absorption of calcium, vitamin B12 and iron.

The most important function of betaine, thanks to its chemical structure, is the transfer of methyl groups, which affect the proper metabolism of homocysteine and reduce its level.

Dosage

Dietary supplement in the form of capsules containing:

2 capsules: betaine HCL – 900 mg.

Recommended daily intake: 1 capsule 2 times a day.

Consume after eating.
