Mechanism of action: functionally DAA Xtreme PROLACT-BLOCK® affects the body through the presence in its composition of D-aspartic acid (DAA), naturally occurring in our cells of internal secretion: adrenal glands, pancreas, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands and largely in the pituitary gland and testes. The highest concentration of this amino acid was recorded in m.in. in testicular venous plasma, parenchymal cells, seminal tubules and testicular interstitial fluid(3). In 2009, a study (3) was conducted to analyze the effects of DAA (3,12 g/day) on testosterone and LH levels in healthy men. The experiment lasted 12 days and clearly illustrated the effectiveness of the analyzed DAA. Testosterone levels increased by 43% and LH by 33%. Moreover, after discontinuation of supplementation with D-aspartic acid, the persistence of elevated levels of hormones - LH and testosterone was observed (table below). However, no significant changes were observed in the placebo group.
