The preparation is dedicated to women during pregnancy.
Each capsule contains 800 µg of active folic acid.
Folates, unlike the popular synthetic pteroilomonoglutamic acid, do not have to be converted in the liver and go directly into the bloodstream.
The Quatrefolic® used in the preparation is the most bioavailable and stable form of folate.
Quatrefolic® is manufactured and patented by the Italian biotechnology company Gnosis S.p.A.
Ingredients: Orafti®HPX inulin (chickory root), Quatrefolic® folate (glucosamine salt (6S)-5-methyltetrahydropholic acid), hydroxypropylcellulose (HPMC) (capsule shell).
The preparation also includes Orafti®HPX inulin from chicory root, which acts as a natural stabilizer in the capsule.
Inulin is classified as prebiotics.
The product is suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets. The capsules were made from vegetable cellulose.
