MamaDHA Premium+ contains a properly selected composition of DHA, vitamins and minerals – ingredients that support the body of a nursing and pregnant woman and the proper development of the fetus and pregnancy.
DHA 800 mg (docosahexaenoic acid)
Consumed by the mother supports the proper development of the brain and eyes in the fetus.
The beneficial effect occurs when you consume 200 mg of DHA per day above the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e. 250 mg DHA and Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA).
Folic acid 400 ug including 200 ug calcium L-methylfolate
Low folate levels in the mother is a risk factor for developing neural tube defects in the developing fetus. The beneficial effect occurs with a daily supplemental intake of 400 ug of folic acid for at least one month before conception and a maximum of three months after conception.
Folates support proper blood production, participate in the process of cell division and promote the proper functioning of the immune system.
Iodine 200 ug
It contributes to the proper functioning of the nervous system and maintaining normal cognitive functions. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the need for iodine increases.
Vitamin D3 2000 IU (50 ug)
It is important for maintaining healthy mother bones, as well as normal bone growth and development in the baby. Vitamin D supports the proper functioning of muscles and the immune system, it is also involved in the process of cell division.
