Citrus Bergamot by Jarrow Formulas is a modern dietary supplement containing natural bergamot orange extract with a very beneficial effect on the functioning of the body. Each capsule provides 500 mg of natural clinically tested bergamot orange fruit extract (Citrus bergamia). [1]
Bergamot orange (Citrus bergamia), also called bergamot or bergamot, is a citrus plant currently grown mainly in the south of Italy in the Calabria region. Bergamot is characterized by a very high concentration of flavanons (neoeriolecitrine, naringin, neohesperidin, melitidine and brutieridine) and some flavones (rhoifolin, neodiosmin, poncirin and rutin). Bergamot polyphenols have strong antioxidant properties. They have a beneficial effect on both lipid and carbohydrate metabolism of the body. [2]
