Sodium butyrate is a supplement for dietary management in:
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- intestinal infections and inflammatory diseases of the intestinal mucosa (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis)
- disorders of the intestinal flora, e.g. after antibiotic therapy
- acute diarrhoea and intestinal disorders of various origins caused by m.in. by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, pathogens
- nutrient deficiencies (e.g. insufficient supply of fiber, poor-residual diet)
Sodium butyrate (600 mg), including butyric acid (470 mg)
Sodium butyrate is a source of butyric acid, which can be helpful in nutrition for many gastroenterological diseases. In combination with treatment, it has a beneficial effect on the health and symptoms of the disease. Butyric acid is naturally produced in the colon and immediately taken up by epithelial cells as an energy source. Accelerates the regeneration of epithelial cells and the absorption of water in the intestine.
Composition: Sodium butyrate, capsule component: hydroxypropylcellulose, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide.
Recommended use:
Adults 1 capsule twice a day - after breakfast and after dinner. The preparation should be taken whole with water.
The duration of use of the product should be in accordance with the doctor's recommendations.
Storage: In a tightly closed package, at room temperature of 15-25°C, in a dry place, out of reach of small children. Protect from moisture and light.
Precautions: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should consult a doctor.
