Dietary supplement Calsin Osteo 2000 is a dietary supplement in the form of film-coated tablets intended for adults. The preparation contains calcium, vitamin D and K. The calcium present in the supplement is calcium carbonate and derived from red marine algae Aquamin TG. Vitamin K in the form of menaquinone MK-7 was obtained as part of a patented biofermentation process from Japanese natto.
Calsin Osteo 2000 - action of active ingredients
Calcium is a mineral that is needed to maintain healthy bones and teeth. Vitamin D helps maintain normal blood calcium levels and the proper absorption/use of calcium and phosphorus. This vitamin plays a role in maintaining healthy teeth and, like vitamin K, helps maintain healthy bones.
Calcium and vitamin D help reduce bone mineral loss in postmenopausal women*. Low bone mineral density is a risk factor for osteopathic bone fractures.
* The statement is specifically addressed to women aged 50 and older. The beneficial effect occurs when you consume at least 1200 mg of calcium and 20 μg of vitamin D per day from all sources.
