Whether it’s apple or banana chips, dried tomatoes or spicy Beef Jerky, it’s all a matter of taste and experimentation.
Fruit Jerky Steel 10 extracts water from foodstuffs with 1000W of power and extends their shelf life with the oldest and most natural preservation method in the world. Vitamins, minerals and other valuable ingredients are preserved. The temperature of the drying machine by Klarstein can be adjusted in several degrees up to 68°C, adapting it smoothly to the drying of any food item – fruit, vegetables, meat or fish. The timer allows you to set the dehydration phases with minute accuracy for up to 15 hours. To make the job easier, the instruction manual contains numerous tips on how to do it. preparation, seasoning and drying of various articles.
On 10 segments with a total drying area of 1440cm² (almost 1,5m²), the dehydrator offers plenty of space for dried articles – when e.g. After harvesting berries, apples and cherries in the garden, they require quick processing or when we want to prepare a large amount of delicious snacks. All segments are made of stainless steel. Five slide-in segments have large eyelets with a width of 2,2 x 2,2 cm for large pieces, and the other five small eyelets with a width of 0,7 x 0,7 cm for small pieces. Unlike many other drying machines Fruit Jerky Steel10 has a stable stainless steel housing with a front plate into which drying segments are inserted, which prevents the device from tipping over. The drying chamber also keeps the interior warm better, where it circulates between segments, removing water. A very quiet fan blows hot air evenly from the back side between the segments.
In addition to the production of dried snacks and additives, the drying machine can also be used to refresh bread. Dried bread or rolls become fresh and crispy again after a short processing, and the chips from yesterday seem like freshly pulled out of the package. The dehumidifier will also provide the heat necessary to grow the yeast dough. But Fruit Jerky 10 is a great addition to home cooking not only for people: dogs and cats love treats from dried meat strips – they are healthy and do not cost much.
The drying machine can be partially disassembled for easy cleaning. E.g. The heating element located at the back can be removed to access the inside of the drying chamber. Stainless steel segments can be easily cleaned after use and put back into the dehumidifier, where they remain protected from dust for the next use. Six non-slip feet provide Fruit Jerky Steel by Klarstein adequate stability.
