Brewer's Yeast by NOW Foods is a high-quality, wholesome dietary supplement that is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals to ensure the proper functioning of the body.
Brewer's Yeast, or brewer's yeast, as the name suggests, is a by-product of the brewing process of beer, which is formed as a result of breeding a specific species of yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) on malted barley. Brewing yeast is a naturally occurring source of protein and B vitamins, such as: thiamine (vitamin B-1), riboflavin (vitamin B-2), niacin, vitamin B-6, folic acid, biotin and pantothenic acid. They are extremely important for the proper functioning of the nervous system, as well as maintaining energy metabolism. They also reduce the feeling of fatigue. Brewing yeast also offers other ingredients such as amino acids and beta-glucans. Importantly, synthetic vitamins are not added to them during the processing of yeast.
NOW Foods yeast products do not contain live yeast organisms. They are made from thermally inactivated yeast, so there is no way they can cause yeast overgrowth in the body.
