Sodium carbonate comes in the form of a white powder, well soluble in water. It has hygroscopic properties (absorption of moisture).

It is a substance that occurs naturally in the so-called. sodium lakes and ashes of marine plants. Soda ash is a natural substitute for store detergents and cleaners, after use it is harmless to the environment and at the same time it is an equally effective solution.

Soda ash can replace many toxic detergents, suitable for cleaning almost everything. You can use it to clean glass surfaces, floors, tiles, do laundry and remove the burnt layer from the pan. It is a great alternative to preparing household preparations.

Remember to use rubber gloves! Soda ash is a caustic substance. Do not use on aluminium and glass fibres.

Homemade way to whiten stains:

Mix the soda ash with water, into a thick paste. Spread thoroughly on the resulting stain, then allow to dry. Rinse the dried fabric thoroughly.

Ecological washing powder – mix together in equal proportions soda ash and borax. This mixture allows you to effectively refresh and clean fabrics – in the washing machine as well as during hand washing.
